Vermont strives to run on 90% renewable energy by 2050, but opponents say they don’t want it in their back yard.
A Charlotte Vermont couple has been planning on installing a solar farm in their back yard for 3 years. They just found out their project plans were denied by the state. While standing on top of the Mount Philo State Park, looking out at the view, which includes farms, homes, businesses, power lines, roads, and I think even a train, opponents suggest it’s solar that would ruin their view. All the other stuff is apparently ok…
