Using energy efficiently
I think we should aspire to be “net-zero” and Matt Sargent, from Efficiency Vermont, breaks it down for us in this presentation “The Path to Zero Energy Homes.”
This short series of videos will quickly bring you up to speed on what it means to be net-zero, how you might be able to be net-zero, and informed enough to be able to talk to your friends about it.
Here I share stories about advancements in energy efficiency measures. I’ll admit, it’s not for everyone. However, I find these ideas exciting and it gives me hope for the future.
It won’t be any one single technology that solves our energy and climate problems. It will be lots of little advancements.
Here we’ll learn about energy efficiency advancements
Before switching to renewable energy, make your home use energy more efficiently. The less energy requirements you have means you can produce less from the start. Go solar, but lower your needs first.
