I recently met Emma Hanson. Emma is the state of Vermont’s Wood Energy Coordinator for the Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation and she knows her stuff.

I’ve been researching Vermont’s renewable energy resources and realized that I’d never taken into account wood. I found out that about 36% of Vermonters already heat with wood and about 12% of that is with wood pellets.
