Bob Fireovid is Executive Director of Better (not bigger) Vermont. The organization informs and motivates the public to take action to reduce the impacts of growing consumption, development, and population on the environment, and quality of life for current and futures generations. Bob was a Board member in the Family Planning Council of Western Massachusetts, Treasurer for the Maryland Chapter of the Sierra Club, and President of the Interfaith Coalition for the Environment. Bob created https://controlgrowth.org to help people engage in local decision making regarding growth and development decisions. In 2012, he created a write-in campaign for the first U.S. Presidential candidate whose major focus was sustainability.
